There could be some good news for the cricket fans of India and Pakistan as the T20 World Cup competition may go ahead in the recent season. Rain has been forecast in Melbourne on Sunday and may now get the green light, while the first day’s match between Australia and New Zealand may also go ahead.
India TV’s exclusive ground report from Australia can confirm that the chances of rain for India vs Pakistan have reduced significantly. The weather will still remain cloudy, but the chances of rain have reduced to a large extent. As the situation has developed, it has been reported that there is still a 65 per cent chance of rain, which was 90 per cent earlier.
India TV’s Samip Rajguru, who is in Australia, briefed about the weather conditions and less chance of rain. The rain god is still expected to play a part, but with the situation improving, fans can now be optimistic about Sunday’s blockbuster tie at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
