Weather Update: Chance of rain in these states for the next three days

According to the forecast, an orange alert has been issued for various districts of Odisha including Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Deogarh on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a yellow warning has been issued in Keonjhar, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Sonpur, Kalahandi, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Navrangpur and Koraput districts with the possibility of heavy rains in these districts.

The Met Office also predicts rain in 17 other states including Rajasthan: Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu.

During this, Rain wreaks havoc in parts of Delhi But high humidity added to the uneasiness of residents on Wednesday. Light rain occurred in some areas of South and Central Delhi.

The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 34 degree Celsius.

5) Rains over Assam and Meghalaya on 26-28 and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next three days.

6) Very heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya on 27th August.

7) Very widespread/widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rain and thundershowers/lightning likely to occur over Punjab on 24th; Over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on August 24 and 25 and over Uttarakhand on August 24 and 28.

8) Isolated heavy rain and thundershowers very likely over Coastal Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on 24th.

9) Light Rain in South Interior Karnataka on 24, 26 and 27; Rayalaseema during 26-28th; Tamil Nadu and Kerala and Mahe during August 24-28.

10) Very heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu and Kerala and Mahe also on 24th August.
