The Regional Science Centre, Coimbatore, will organize a week long program to raise awareness about science among students and the public at its campus from February 22 to 28.

District Science Officer JR Pazhaniswami said in a statement that the ‘Festival of Scope for All’ (Science and Technology Communication, Popularity and Its Expansion) will be organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India at 75 places. all over India.

B Nagarajan, Scientist, Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural function. Pazhaniswami said science exhibitions, screening of science-related films, lectures, essay and drawing competitions and night sky observation will be held throughout the week and prizes to the winners will be distributed during the closing ceremony on February 28, Mr. Pazhaniswami said.
