First of all, add gram flour, celery, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, salt and ginger-garlic paste in a bowl. Mix everything together. Add water if required and mix to make a smooth batter. (Keep in mind that there should be no lumps in the batter).

Add paneer cubes. Now mix them gently with your hands and coat them with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Now heat oil in a pan. Place the paneer cubes and shallow fry them till they turn golden brown. Once done, transfer to a plate lined with kitchen paper. Sprinkle chaat masala on top and serve with mint chutney.
