Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday warned Russian pilots who bombed residential buildings in Kyiv, saying, “All pilots, dispatchers must understand that we will find you.” He further said, “The decision awaits you all” and called the act a war crime.

This comes after Russian missiles attacked an apartment block near a kindergarten in Kyiv on Sunday. Four explosions rocked the Ukrainian capital in the first such attack in weeks.

President Zelensky also appealed to Belarusians, saying, “The Kremlin has already decided everything for you, your life is worthless to them. You are not a slave. You don’t have to die. You don’t let anyone decide it.” What awaits you next.”

The missile attack that killed one and injured at least six people came as world leaders gathered in Germany for the G7 summit.

US President Joe Biden reacted to the Russian missile attack and called it an act of “barbarism”. He told allies at the G7 summit that “we have to stand together” against Russia.

G7 leaders impose sanctions on Russia

Sunday’s G7 summit in Germany focused on the impact of the Russo-Ukraine war on food and energy supplies and the global economy. Four of the seven nations moved to impose sanctions on Russian gold imports to tighten the sanctions imposed on Moscow.

Britain, the United States, Japan and Canada agreed to a ban on new Russian gold imports, according to an AFP report.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba called for further sanctions on Russia and said the G7 countries should respond to the latest missile strike by providing Ukraine with more heavy weapons.
