Indian Coast Guard has organized hovercraft to rescue stranded pilgrims in Gangasagar.

Two boats carrying pilgrims from Gangasagar got stuck in the sea due to fog and low fever last night. According to the information, there were 500 to 600 pilgrims on board. After receiving information that the passengers were stranded, the state administration launched relief material and rescue operations. The Indian Coast Guard has boarded hovercraft to rescue the stranded pilgrims at Gangasagar and evacuate them.

He told that till now about 60 lakh people have visited Kapil Muni temple through e-darshan during Gangasagar fair.
