new Mahindra Scorpio 2022 To be released this year. The second generation Mahindra Scorpio will be the next big launch from the domestic automaker in the country.
However, the official launch date is yet to be decided by the carmaker. Pointing to the same, a twitter user Anand Mahindra was asked, “Sir please tell me on which date the Scorpio is going to be launched as we are waiting for it.”
To this the Chairman of Mahindra Group replied, “Shh. If I tell you, I’ll be fired… but all I can say is.. I’m as excited as you are…”
Expressing its sentiments about the much-awaited launch of the 2022 edition of the Indian automaker’s popular SUV, Mahindra testified that “I am just as excited as you”.

It is anticipated that the automaker, which has been testing the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio for the past one year, will make extensive changes to its exterior and interior. However, the major update will come in the form of a more powerful and refined engine.
Notably, it is understood that the Mahindra Scorpio will be offered with a factory-fitted sunroof for the first time.
Similar to XUV700, second generation scorpio The vehicle will get flat-bottom steering with telematics, electrically adjustable front seats, roof-mounted speakers, reverse camera, rear disc brakes and multiple airbags. Sitting on a new platform, the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will get a redesigned grille, twin-pod headlamps with LED DRLs, updated bumpers and new LED taillamps.
Also, the SUV will be made available with 6- and 7-seat configurations. Interestingly, the third row seats will be facing forward instead of a side facing jump unit.
