His review of the film was based on the trailer alone. in an interview with etimes, Vijay Barse said, “I was very impressed to see the trailer. The emotions are captured so well. It was a pleasure to see some of my slum football students in the film. Also, the narrow streets of Nagpur are depicted so beautifully. My journey full of obstacles and challenges will be shown on the big screen. I am looking forward to watching the film.”

The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, who acts as a football coach for the underprivileged. The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of the NGO Slum Soccer, which inspires slum children to form and coach a football team.
