“What I saw in Bengaluru, I say…”: PM during Karnataka campaign

PM Modi during road show in Karnataka

Badami:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the overwhelming response received in Bengaluru during his roadshow has given him confidence that it is the people who are contesting the 2023 assembly elections in Karnataka on behalf of the BJP.

He also said that “the love and affection he had never seen before in Bengaluru was unparalleled”.

“Today morning, I went to have a ‘darshan’ (opportunity to see) ‘Janata Janardhan’ (public god) in Bengaluru. People showered me with ‘never seen before’ love and affection,” Modi told a public meeting in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district. Where polling will be held on May 10.

The PM said that people were standing at every nook and corner of the road for 25 kilometers from where his convoy passed during the Bengaluru roadshow.

On both sides of the road stood people with their families, persons with disabilities and women with their newborn children.

“From what I saw in Bengaluru, I say with confidence that neither Modi nor BJP leaders or our candidates are contesting this election, the people of Karnataka are contesting on behalf of the BJP. I see that the complete control of the election is in the hands of the people.

He also said that the ‘double engine’ government of BJP is working for development without any discrimination.

Targeting the Congress, Modi said that the Congress party has a track record of 85 per cent commission, they can never work for the service of the people.
