WhatsApp is fixing link previews for desktop users. It has stopped generating rich link previews for desktop users due to technical reasons. The instant-messaging app is said to be fixing this and now WhatsApp Desktop is again able to generate rich link previews.
“Still not possible to generate link preview WhatsApp web, as it has one of the unsupported features after the migration to multi-device, such as the ability to create broadcast lists or view live locations on linked devices,” WABetaInfo said.
“We’re sure this FAQ will get updated when WhatsApp introduces support for more features on WhatsApp Web/Desktop,” he added.
Similarly WhatsApp is also rolling out new feature Which will somehow help to stop spam messages coming in groups. This new feature will be available for both iOS and Android users. This new feature of WhatsApp will forward only to one WhatsApp group. The new limit prevents users from sending forward messages in more than one group chat. It was given to beta Android users for testing and is now being rolled out to the new iOS version.
WhatsApp is also planning to replace the camera tab with a new community tab that probably redirects to the community home.
