WhatsApp has started receiving reactions on Android, here’s how to use it

Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp Recently started receiving in-chat message responses for individual and group chats. This feature is similar to what we have seen with Facebook, Messenger and instagram Where users can simply provide feedback using pre-defined emoji.

So, if you want to try out the new message reaction on WhatsApp, here are the steps you need to follow:

Note, that this feature is currently rolling out in a phased manner and WhatsApp has already confirmed that the full rollout will take around a week. So, if this feature is not available to you, then you will have to wait a little longer.

Steps to give feedback using Reactions on WhatsApp

1.

Install the latest version of WhatsApp and open it

2.

Navigate to any chat window or group chat

3.

Now, long press (tap and hold for a few seconds) on any message (works for both sent and received messages)

4.

You will see a new popup with some reaction emojis.

5.

Tap on the emoji you want to react with.
