San Francisco: Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is planning to bring iMessage-like profile photos within group chats.

When this feature is released to beta testers, profile photos of other group participants will appear next to all incoming messages group chat In future updates of the app.
As is the case with Feedback Preview, there is no way to disable this feature as it will always be enabled by default for all group participants and there is no switch for it, the report said.
The feature is under development, so it is unclear when WhatsApp will release the changes to the public.
Recently, the platform started releasing a feature that allows group admins to delete any message in the group to some lucky beta testers.
The report mentions that this is an important feature for group admins as they can eventually moderate their WhatsApp groups in a better way.
Also, when a message is deleted for everyone in the group, all other group participants can see that a certain group administrator has deleted the message.
