WhatsApp may soon roll out this new feature for iOS users – Times of India

WhatsApp has reportedly started rolling out a new beta update for iOS the user. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta program, which brings the version up to 22.3.75. The report further mentions that the latest beta update comes in the context of a new feature that will allow users to share media as their What App With status and individual chat or group in single window. Currently, if you want to share a single media file on your status and with multiple chats, you have to do it separately.
According to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, with future updates, iOS users will be able to see a redesigned caption view with additional functionality. The report states that users will be able to select the options where they want to share media when they tap on the camera icon in the Chat, Group or Status section. Users will also be able to view the selections under the Captions section. Since this feature is under development, it is not yet known when this feature will be available.
WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a feature that will make it easier for you to manage multiple groups. According to a previous report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will show a new introduction page when the Communities feature is first rolled out.
The screenshot shows that this feature will allow you to add groups that you manage under one roof for easy access. The screenshot also shows that you will be able to send a message to all your groups at once. A similar hidden reference was also seen in the beta update released for iOS smartphones a few weeks ago. For those who don’t know, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has been working on a community feature for a while now.
