WhatsApp to soon allow 1,024 participants in group chats: Report

Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp will soon allow its users to create large group chats. According to the report of WaBetaInfo, WhatsApp Users will be able to add 1,024 participants to the group in the future. Earlier this year the limit was increased from 256 to 512.

The report states that this feature is already available on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. However, it is limited to a certain undefined number of beta testers.
