In the world of WhatsApp, we often end up in groups we don’t want to be a part of but had no way of exiting without informing others. To solve this problem, the company has finally started working on it to make things less awkward.
After rolling out several new features like message responses and high file transfers, quietly exiting groups seems to be the next objective of WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is working hard on its communities in 2022, making sure there are easier ways to not only share content but to skip group chats when the time comes.
A new report by WABetaInfo reveals that in future, whenever you plan to exit a group on the platform, only group admins will know about the move.
The report states that this feature is currently being developed and will take some time to reach beta users. The ability to silently exit WhatsApp groups is expected to be made available for Android, iOS and desktop users. It remains to be seen when it will be widely available.
WhatsApp, on the other hand, will soon allow you to add up to 512 people to a group. At present, this limit is 256 members. Along with this, the Communities tab has also been introduced for the group admin to handle all their groups in a better way, which is expected to reach the users soon.
