WhatsApp working on new security feature to tackle fraud

As per the report, this upcoming feature of WhatsApp will feature a login prompt on existing devices when users try to move their WhatsApp account to a new device. Reportedly, it has also been suggested that the device login approval window may eventually replace WhatsApp’s current SMS-based login process. It is also believed that the messaging platform will integrate this feature with its upcoming Karuna Mode, which will allow users to access their accounts on secondary devices such as tablets or phones.
