When Hrithik Roshan bumped into Michael Jackson and he had a ‘fan’ moment – Times of India

Back in 2008, Hrithik Roshan had a chance encounter with Michael Jackson When the latter casually walked into the make-up room. it was when Hrithik Was shooting for his film ‘Kites’ in Los Angeles. Michael was also scheduled to shoot at the same location where he met the Bollywood actor.

According to a report in Bombay Times, much to the surprise of Hrithik and his co-star Barbara Mori, MJ came to a makeup room on the sets and introduced himself as “My name is Michael.”

The singer’s bodyguards had entered the room earlier and Hrithik was reportedly taken by surprise. Michael Jackson’s bodyguards had come to do the recce as the pop star was to shoot at the same location the next day. Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan was also present at that time.

Hrithik and Jackson also chatted for a while. A report quoted Hrithik as saying, “I have been a big fan of Jackson since childhood. So dad requested the owner of the mansion that we want to meet Jackson. Instead, he went to the room to meet us. Came. That meeting is engraved in my memory.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan is all set to share screen space with ‘Vikram Vedha’ Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. The film also marks the collaboration of Saif and Hrithik on the big screen after the 2002 film ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’.
