PM Modi alleged that before 2014, when the Congress was in power at the Centre, it did not think about the poor and did not emphasize with them.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Who was on his sixth visit to the poll-bound Karnataka this year, criticized the Congress party while addressing a public meeting in Mandya.

Prime Minister Modi said, “While the Congress is busy dreaming of Modi’s burial, the BJP government in Karnataka is busy working on development projects like building the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway.”

He further said, “When the Congress is trying to bury Modi, the old party does not understand that the blessings of lakhs of mothers and sisters shield the PM.”

He alleged that before 2014 when the Congress was in power at the Center, they did not think about it. Poor Or emphasize with them. “The Congress government knew nothing about the poor, had no indifference. The crores of rupees that were set aside for the welfare of the poor were looted by the Congress.

Earlier in the day, Modi held a massive road show at Mandya, the district headquarters. He greeted a large number of enthusiastic crowd, which lined up on both sides of the route. This is because the ruling BJP is focusing on winning a significant number of seats in the old Mysuru region, where it has traditionally been weak.

Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the 118-km Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway project at Maddur.

According to officials, the expressway is set to reduce the travel time between the two cities from about three hours to about 75 minutes.

Spread over 92 km, this project will be developed at a cost of about Rs 4130 crore. This project will play an important role in connecting Kushalnagar in Kodagu district to the state capital Bengaluru. Officials said this would help cut down the travel time to half from about five hours.
