Post the win, the Indian dressing room looked a happy place as the team came together to celebrate the victory. “It was a young team. Not many people playing in England were playing. But the way you guys reacted, there were some high pressure games and we were right among them. Great sign. Well done Shikhar India. Head coach Rahul Dravid said in a video posted on BCCI’s social media account.
Then, Shikhar Dhawan also appreciated the effort and led a fun-filled celebration at the end. “When I say ‘Who are we?’ You will call everyone champions,” he said. After this the whole squad burst into laughter.

The third game presented a different challenge as a rain break could have been a decisive change in pace but the stylish Gill and the talented Shreyas Iyer (44 off 34 balls) changed the color of the game after the rain.
India were 115 for 1 in 24 overs when the first stop, but once the game resumed, the visitors suddenly went ahead with 110 runs in the next 12 overs, as Gill reached his maiden century. It felt good, which was not to be.

However, Gill would have little complaint about scoring 205 runs in three matches with scores of 64, 43 and 98 not out.
