A spokesman for the Islamic emirate said the Afghan delegation included officials from the ministries of defence, health and internal affairs, Tolo News reported.
Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan last August, the country has plunged into financial chaos with rising inflation and unemployment, while halting aid and US sanctions have sparked a humanitarian crisis in an already ravaged country by decades of war. .
