However, a recent story has left us stunned! A Twitter user named Ravi Rai Rana shared on the micro-blogging platform how he recently faced a disgusting experience during his visit to Sagar Ratna outlet at the food court in Elante Mall, Chandigarh.
The customer shared a video of the incident and claimed that a lizard was found in a ‘semi-conscious’ state under the bhature. He tweeted, “Had an awful experience at Sagar Ratna Food Court, Elante Mall, Chandigarh on 14.6.22. A live lizard was found in a semi-conscious state under the bhature. After the incident, the customer immediately informed the health department and the police. According to a report in Hindustan Times, a team of food and safety officials of the UT health department visited the Sagar Ratna outlet and collected samples from the food.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, a spokesman for Elante issued a statement saying they were aware of the incident on campus. “The hygiene and safety of patrons is of utmost importance and we will take all necessary steps to ensure that such incidents are avoided and will assist the authorities in a thorough food safety audit at the food court,” the spokesperson said.
