“Measure and eat for him,” read the caption of the post. The picture was shared on Twitter by user @babumoshoy, where it garnered hundreds of likes, comments and shares. The click featured a regular 12-inch ruler, along with markings in centimeters. However, turning the ruler to the other side, we could see a complete wedding menu in Bangla printed on it.

The menu was from Siliguri, West Bengali, where Animesh and Sushmita were married in 2013. Dishes such as fish, mutton and fried rice were displayed on the scale.

Twitter users were very interested to know why the menu was printed on a ruler. Some jokingly speculated that those who ran extra would be hit with the same scale. Others praised the Bengali couple for their creativity. “all this creativity Can be done by Bengalis because they have to be a little crazy to do such a thing, which is our best asset, so much creativity,” wrote one user in the answer section. “I will eat by pressing and measuring,” another wrote said .
