Why did Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal take this job?

Twitter’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Parag Agarwal said he joined the social media company to strengthen the service and make it a better place. Parag Agarwal said on Twitter: “I have taken this task to transform Twitter for the better, correct course and strengthen the service.

He further added that he is very proud of the team which is doing a great job.

“Proud of our people who continue to work with attention and promptness despite the noise,” parago tweeted.

Twitter on Monday confirmed the sale of the company to Tesla chief Elon Musk for $44 billion. Under the terms of the deal, shareholders will receive US$54.20 in cash for each share of Twitter stock they own.

“Elon’s goal of building a platform that is maximally reliable and widely inclusive is true. That is also @Parag’s goal, and why I chose him. Thank you both for taking the company out of an impossible situation. This is the right path I believe in with all my heart,” Dorsey tweeted.
