Guess all the news about VLC Being banned by the Indian government cannot be true. Yes, the official website of VLC – videolan.org is not opening VLC media. However, there is a possibility that this could be caused by a server issue. As we tried to open the website and it did not open as expected. However, upon doing a Google search and clicking on the ‘VLC’ tag from the suggestion, the website shows a . opened on windows Laptop. The URL for that is “www.videolan.org/vlc/. We tried doing the same thing on a few other laptops including the MacBook Air (M1) and it worked after a few tries. Incidentally, VLC always opens on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Android TV.
