Will allow Covid positive students to appear for Madhya Pradesh Board Exam 2022

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) The board has already announced the exam dates for class 10 and 12 students. The board has now allowed students to take the exam even if they have tested positive for Covid-19. A separate room will be made for infected students in each examination center. 18 lakh candidates will appear in the 10th and 12th board exams in the state.

Class 12 exams are scheduled to begin with English from February 17 and will continue with Sanskrit till March 12. Whereas class 10 exam will be conducted from February 18 to March 10. The detailed MPBSE Board Exam 2022 datesheet is available at mpbse.nic.in. The examinations will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.

MPBSE has already conducted the pre-board exams for both class 10 and 12 in take-home mode. The students took the question papers home from their respective schools and wrote the answers. After filling in the answers, he submitted them to the schools. The pre-boards started from January 20 to January 28 for class 10 students and till January 31 for class 12 students.

As per the guidelines issued earlier by MPBSE, the board exams will be conducted amidst strict COVID-19 protocol. Students will have to wear masks and sit at a greater distance than usual to maintain social distancing norms.

The timing of the exam has also been changed. The examinations will start at 10 am and end at 1 pm. Earlier the examinations were conducted from 9 am to 1 pm. MPBSE class 10 theory exam will be for 80 marks and class 12 theory will be for 70 marks. The remaining marks will be for practical and internal assessment.

MPBSE has also released the exam date sheet for class 9 and 11. From March 16, the examinations for class 9 will go on till April 12. Class 11 exams will be conducted from March 16 to April 13. All the exams will be conducted in morning shift between 8:30 to 11:30. Students will have to report in their allotted hall by 8 am and no entry will be allowed after 8:15 am.
