North Korea opposes war, but if South Korea opts for a military confrontation or a preemptive strike, the North’s nuclear forces will strike, the powerful sister of leader Kim Jong Un said on Tuesday.
State news agency KCNA reported that Kim Yo Jong, a senior official in the government and the ruling party, said it was a “huge mistake” for South Korea’s defense minister to make recent remarks to discuss a preemptive attack on the North.
