Sidhu said, “I will never be a showpiece… I will never lie to the people of Punjab to come to power. Can anyone say that I have ever lied? Because I have nothing to lose.” ”

The state Congress chief said, “I gave my word to them and will stick to it. But I also stand by my words for the welfare of the people of Punjab and not to bring anyone to power.”
He insisted that he would do whatever duty was given to him by the party but would never betray the people of Punjab.
