Businesswoman and star of the new Hulu series The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian, talks about her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson in a Variety cover story. The founder of clothing brand SKIMS has put to rest speculations whether the Saturday Night Live star will be seen in her upcoming reality show. “I haven’t made a film with him. And I am not opposing it. What he does is simply not. But if an incident was happening and he was there, he would not ask the cameras to go away,” she told the publication.
However, the 41-year-old fashion icon also offered a glimmer of hope to fans of Pete and Kim by saying that she could ‘do some really exciting films to come, but it won’t be for this season’. The second season of The Kardashians that Hulu has guaranteed could have Pete.
For those who are curious about how Kim and Pete’s relationship began in 2021 shortly after their appearance on SNL, the upcoming show may put the rumours to rest. In the same interview, Kim said that viewers would find out how the two met and reached out to whom and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know. “I’m definitely ready to talk, and I certainly explain it,” she told the magazine.
In addition to Pete, the upcoming Hulu docu-series on Kardashian also stars Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West, now known as Yeh. The hip-hop artist, who has now become a favorite child of controversies with public outcry against Kim and his open threats to Pete, will star in the opening parts of The Kardashians.
Talking about her relationship with Kanye, Kim said, “I always respect what kids see. The reality is that we are always family.” Kim said that she and Ye will have love and respect for each other, so even though there are moments where it may not seem like it, there are many moments that are positive. The owner of the KKW Beauty & Fragrance line also noted, “I think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time, but they can be better. And it’s not like I’m the only one in the world.” Trying to keep cheesy and not share – there are definitely moments where I’ve been tested myself.”
The Kardashians will begin airing on Hulu on April 14.
