Therefore, you will find that people often skip roadside food items and choose restaurants, hoping that the restaurant meets the level of cleanliness. But have you ever checked what happens in a professional kitchen? Do they maintain cleanliness level or not? While we believe that most restaurants maintain cleanliness, some fail to consider it. One such case has recently come to light from Chennai. Insects were reportedly crawling in his food at a popular vegetarian restaurant in the city. You heard us!
According to a report in Asianet News, a woman identified as Rani had recently said that she had gone to a restaurant named ‘Namma Vidya Vasantha Bhavan’ in Chennai and placed an order for her. Chole-Puri, But, when the food came, he saw a worm crawling in the food. Seeing this sight, she screamed! News18 further reports that the woman filed a complaint against the restaurant with the Food Safety Department, which then conducted a thorough inspection.
Reportedly, the food safety authorities have taken prompt action against the same and imposed a temporary ban on the operation of the restaurant. He also issued a warning against restaurant owners.
In a similar incident last month, a live lizard was found in Bhatura in the food court of Elante Mall in Chandigarh. The man explained the incident in a tweet and wrote:

The post immediately grabbed attention, with people reacting strongly to the incident. One person wrote, “It is very common in the food court… Sometimes cockroaches roam around and enjoy eating…” Another comment read, “Ghar ka khana khao sab kaho best (homemade) Eat the food; it’s the best!)”
