A woman in Singapore has come out with a womb-themed NFT

A sex coach in Singapore has become the latest to join the non-fungible token (NFT) bandwagon. To celebrate International Women’s Day, which was on March 8, certified intimacy coach Dr. Angela Tan released womb-themed NFTs in collaboration with her organization, the Academy of Relationships and Sex (ARAS), and local artist Moko. The two sets of the womb-inspired collection were titled #CelebrateWomb. #CelebrateWomb features two series of NFT art: The Floral Matrix and The Womb of Life.

While “Floral Matrix”, which was created in-house with an independent artist, has a minimum price of 0.002 ETH, “Womb of Life” has a minimum price of 0.075 ETH. A portion of the proceeds from the NFT sale will be donated to NGOs working for poverty alleviation.

Similarly,”womb of lifeThere is a collection of 11 NFT artifacts by ARAS and MOKO. The collection depicts the womb as the gateway to the universe that allows creation.

Both sets of collectibles are up for auction in OpenSea, an NFT marketplace.

“We want to celebrate and appreciate the role of the womb as the safe place where we were first raised, the place where all human beings are created. It sparked life, allowed us to move forward And achieved feat after feat in the history of humanity,” read a write-up on arasi Website.

On their website, ARAS also sought to dispel some myths about menstruation. It states that when it comes to myths and taboos, the womb is not abandoned. Labels like “menstruation is embarrassing” or “menstrual blood is dirty” can result in many women feeling unworthy of their femininity.

NFTs are digital assets or collectibles developed with blockchain technology. Art, music, in-game products and movies can all be represented by NFTs. They are often encoded with the same underlying software as multiple cryptocurrencies and are bought and sold online, and all transactions are recorded on the blockchain. While everyone can view NFTs, only the buyer has the right to hold them.

This is not the first time that a pregnancy or pregnancy has been depicted in the NFT. A “Baby Birkin” NFT, depicting a baby growing inside a Hermes Birkin bag, sold for the equivalent of $23,500 last year. A baby at all stages of pregnancy at 40 weeks was depicted in a transparent bag design.

Another example was a depiction of a black pregnant woman and her fetus by a medical student, who put it up for sale as NFT last year. Chidibere Ibe, a medical student, created a picture of a black pregnant woman that went viral on Twitter. Ibe listed the NFT for about $39,500. The picture went viral on Twitter after a user shared it and wrote that he had never seen a black fetus painted.
