Trailblazers celebrating after a wicket vs Velocity
Trailblazers bowed out of the Women’s T20 challenge even after beating Velocity by 16 runs after Jemima and Meghna put on an exhibition with the bat.
The Trailblazers posted a challenging 190 for five after being sent out to bat. Sabbhineni Meghna scored 73 runs in 47 balls, while Jemima Rodrigues Scored 66 runs in 44 balls.
Simran Bahadur took two wickets for 31 runs in three overs for Velocity.
Chasing 191, the velocity was limited to 174 for nine. Kiran Prabhu Navgire scored 69 runs in 34 balls for Velocity.
KP Navgire’s innings grabbed everyone’s attention, especially the way she was hitting the ball into the stands. He is definitely the one for the future and a bright prospect for the Indian team.
At one point, she looked like taking her team home alone.
Poonam Yadav Trailblazers (2/33) and Rajeshwari Gaikwad (2/44) took two wickets each. In the end the target of 191 proved to be too much for Velocity and they lost by 16 runs.
