Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships with a throw of 88.13m. Chopra gave his best performance in the fourth round. Grenadian Anderson Peters won the gold medal as he effortlessly threw the javelin three times to 90 meters. Anderson’s best finish at the championship was 90.54m in his sixth and final attempt. In the qualification on Friday, Neeraj had made it to the final with an impressive throw of 88.39m in his first attempt.
