WPL 2023: Delhi Capitals beat RCB by 6 wickets

Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets in their Women’s Premier League match here on Monday.

This is RCB’s fifth consecutive defeat.

Royal Challengers Bangalore posted 150 for four after being sent into bat by DC skipper Meg Lanning.

In reply, DC completed the chase in 19.4 overs. Ellyse Capsy scored 38 off 24 balls after the early loss of Shafali Verma, while Jemimah Rodrigues scored 32 off 28 balls, before Jess Jonassen scored 29 off 15 balls.

Australian Ellyse Perry scored an unbeaten 67 off 52 balls for RCB. Perry hit four fours and five sixes. Richa Ghosh increased RCB’s run rate in the back-10 by scoring 37 runs in just 16 balls with the help of three sixes and as many fours.

Shikha Pandey took three wickets for DC.
