Experienced Test wicketkeeper-batsman, and GT opener, Wriddhiman Co:Is in talks with Tripura for a potential player-cum-mentor role.
He wants the role to be the player-cum-mentor for Tripura. He is in talks with some members of the Apex Council in Tripura but nothing has been finalized yet. They have to first get clearance (No Objection Certificate) from CAB and BCCI and then it will be carried forward: official told PTI
Saha was not available for comment. The 37-year-old withdrew from the Bengal set-up after being rejected in the Indian Test squad for Sri Lanka. After that, CAB joint secretary Devvrat Das made some lewd comments about Saha’s decision in the media, questioning his commitment, something that angered the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman.
