A three-member committee met Saha in New Delhi on Saturday to probe the 37-year-old’s allegations against the previously unknown journalist. Later in the night in his nine-minute-long video, Majumdar claimed that Saha “doctored” a WhatsApp screenshot of a chat with him.

Majumdar also said that he is filing a defamation suit against the dismissed India glovesman.

Centrally contracted player Saha had made several tweets on February 23 to level the allegation, following which the BCCI launched an investigation into the matter.

It all started after the 37-year-old was sidelined for the ongoing series in Sri Lanka. Saha angrily revealed some secret dressing room conversations with head coach Rahul Dravid.

He said that Dravid had told him in South Africa that he was no longer in the scheme of things.

The wicketkeeper-batsman also revealed how the chairman of the national selection committee, Chetan Sharma, told him that they were no longer considering him. Saha was recently demoted to Group C of the BCCI central contracts list.
