WWE Raw was a loaded show in terms of drama and high-octane action. Last night, Raw began the build-up to July’s Money in the Bank event. Cody Rhodes made headlines after his inspired performance to defeat Seth Rollins at WWE Hell in a Cell. Rhodes wrestled despite excruciating pain from a torn pectoral tendon. As a result, Rhodes opened the show with an emotional in-ring promo that earned him deafening cheer from the crowd. Seth Rollins soon joined him in the ring, saying that Rhodes had earned his respect after bravely fighting in Hell in a Cell.
However, Rollins ambushed Rhodes from behind as he was walking down the entrance ramp and exiting. After hitting Rhodes with a hammer, Rollins ripped off his opponent’s shirt and stumped his torn pectoral muscle.
So, the main story of Monday’s show is that Cody Rhodes is being written off television after a brutal assault by Seth Rollins. Rhodes has suffered a tear of a pectoral tendon and required surgery to repair the injury.
Apart from this great opening segment, Raw had a packed match card that featured some blockbuster matches.

Dana Brooke defeated Becky Lynch after receiving the rollup pin on Lynch due to interference from Asuka.
The Miz Vs Riddle
After the two argued on Miz TV, Miz took Riddle to an impromptu match. In the match, Riddle defeated The Miz via pinfall with an RKO.
The Usos Vs Street Profit
The Street Profits defeated The Usos via count-out in a formidable champion contender match.
Dominic Mysterio vs Heroic the Great
Vir got off to a strong start and closed at Bearhugg before Dominic was dismissed. As the match progressed, Mahan started dominating the action. In the end, Mahan won after Dominic Mysterio was disqualified following interference from Rey Mysterio.
Omos vs Cedric Alexander
Omos posted a fine win via pinfall after hitting a devastating choke bomb just seconds into the match.
Ezekiel vs Otis
Otis got off to a strong start as he was in headlock. But as soon as Ezekiel broke down, he was soon sent to the corner. Ezekiel ends the match with an impressive crucifix pin.
Dewdrop vs Alexa Bliss vs Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley
A mouth-watering 4-way match was on to determine the new No. 1 contender for the Raw Women’s Championship.
After an intense back-and-forth fight, Rhea Ripley def. Dewdrop, Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss on Dewdrop with Riptide via pinfall. As a result, Ripley will now face Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank along with the Raw Women’s Championship.
