Xiaomi India announces plans to replace old batteries, users complain

Chinese consumer electronics and related software maker Xiaomi India recently announced its new plan for easy and affordable battery replacement of mobile phones, starting with just . will be from 499.

Xiaomi India CEO Muralikrishnan B announced the plan on Twitter on June 13, but a few days later, the service center employees claim that they are yet to receive any information about it from higher authorities.

Announcing the new plan, Muralikrishnan B, Chief Operating Officer, Xiaomi India, wrote on Twitter on June 13, “It’s time to say goodbye to your battery problems! Visit your nearest #Xiaomi authorized service center and get your old battery.” Get a fresh and refreshing experience It’s all just starting 499.”

However, it seems that the CEO forgot to send this information to Xiaomi service centers in the country as several users targeted Muralikrishnan complaining about the service being announced.

A Xiaomi user replied to Muralikrishnan’s tweet and said that even after showing his tweet, the Guntur service center officials were not ready to accept as they are yet to receive any update about the new plan from senior officials .

To which, Xiaomi India Support assured the user of grievance redressal.

Apart from the above user, similar tweets were posted on Muralikrishnan’s post citing non-cooperation of Xiaomi India support staff.
