Jhansi: Hitting out at rival political parties, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday claimed that no one will be able to face the “inswingers” and “outswingers” given by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Extending the cricket analogy, Singh called Adityanath an all-rounder and said that the CM has been able to control crime in the state while working for the development of the state.

Addressing a rally at the BJP’s Jan Vishwas rally here, Singh said, “Chief Minister Yogi has worked wonders. It is a two-syllable name that creates fear in the minds of criminals. First they use country-made pistols after sunset. Used to do branding, but today no one dares.

Praising the Yogi – the name literally means practitioner of Yoga – the Union Minister said that the Chief Minister is bringing development in the state by the grace of Yoga Mudra.

He specifically targeted the Samajwadi Party and said that it will be raised at the top in the upcoming assembly elections.

I have seen Yogi Adityanath working. He is an all rounder. He can bat, and when he bowls, he overthrowns the stumps – be it against the SP, BSP or Congress. Singh said that no one is able to counter his inswingers and outswingers.

He said that even developed countries like America, Russia, China and Britain have not been as successful in dealing with the Kovid-19 epidemic like India.

The Defense Minister blamed Pakistan for the terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan is trying to break the country, weaken it, and is sending terrorists from its soil, launching terror attacks in J&K. We have also decided to give a befitting reply to this and we are giving.

The minister also discussed the issue of infiltration in the border areas without naming China and urged people to have faith in the country’s leadership.

“There is another neighboring country, I will not discuss much. But, as a defense minister, I urge you to have faith in us. We will not allow the head of the country to bow down even if we have to sacrifice for it. We should have faith in our jawans.”
