Jhansi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said on Sunday that people in the country are getting the benefits of free vaccination, medical facilities, ration and social welfare schemes like Ram Rajya without any discrimination.
Addressing people at a function of Murari Bapu in Lalitpur, the CM said, “By December all houses in entire Bundelkhand will start supplying RO quality water through pipes, while all farms will get water for irrigation. Present time is like ‘Ram Rajya’. When every person gets free vaccination, medical facilities and ration.”
He said, “Lord Ram taught us how to lead an ideal life and be ready to face challenges in a positive way. People of Bundelkhand are lucky because Tulsidas was born on this land.”
While reviewing the development projects, the Chief Minister ordered for speedy completion of projects related to water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission in Lalitpur.
Reviewing the ongoing works, he directed the officers to ensure that the agencies working on the projects strictly adhere to the time-limit.
He also took stock of the Kachnoda dam project, which is being constructed at a cost of about Rs 174.97 crore and is expected to be completed by October.
A day earlier, while he was in Jhansi, the CM had expressed displeasure over the delay in water projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission and asked officials to register an FIR against companies showing laxity in meeting deadlines in water-related projects. had ordered.
He said that if they have not improved their performance, they should be blacklisted and replaced. He also pulled up the authorities for allegedly not taking action against the mafia.
The Chief Minister also inspected the Kachhnoda Dam project under construction, which will directly benefit 1.45 lakh people from 62 villages. A government spokesperson said, “During the inspection, the CM directed the officials concerned to complete the projects within the stipulated time. He also ordered for frequent review of the ongoing projects to expedite the pace of the dam. The length of the proposed pipeline is about 564 km. ,
The CM also took stock of the Gulara, Bacholi and Tilaitha government water supply schemes of Jhansi. This project, to be completed by June, will directly benefit 114 villages.
The CM also visited the Pitambara Peeth temple in Datia.
