YouTube is bringing this new feature to improve your viewing experience

YouTube had been testing the Most Viewed Highlights feature with premium users for some time.

YouTube recently announced that it would be discontinuing the lighter YouTube Go app for Android later this year.

YouTube is rolling out a new feature that will bring minor changes to the viewing experience for users. The Google-owned video platform will now highlight the “most frequently played” part of a video in web players and mobile apps.

The new feature was already being tested youtube premium Subscriber but now available to all users starting today. youtube, said in a release that if the graph is high for a part of a video that is replayed frequently, you can use that graph to find and view those parts of the video. The new feature will show a “Most Played” tag on the preview of the video which can be viewed on the seeker while browsing through the parts of the video. This will make things interesting in terms of dividing the audience’s attention and giving the creators an indication of what the users really want to see.

The feature has been announced as part of a recent update to YouTube that makes longer videos more manageable to watch and access to certain parts. There’s also a new way to loop parts of a video, and an upcoming feature for premium users looking for the exact moment in a video they want to watch.

YouTube recently announced that it would be shutting down the lighter YouTube Go app later this year. YouTube Go app for Android Smartphones will be discontinued from August this year. YouTube has advised all YouTube Go users to start using the regular YouTube app on their devices.

YouTube Go was launched in 2016, when Google Low-end devices wanted to run popular streaming apps without offering features like commenting, creating content, or switching on dark mode. It was also targeted at markets like India Where connectivity posed a challenge.
