YouTuber arrested after fans gathered at Noida Metro station to celebrate his birthday

New Delhi: YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, also known as “Flying Beast”, was arrested on Saturday (July 9, 2022) after his followers gathered at the Noida Metro station to celebrate his birthday. Taneja had reportedly booked a metro coach at Aqua Line’s Sector 51 metro station for his birthday celebrations. His wife, Ritu Rathi Taneja had reportedly invited followers to celebrate his birthday, following which, hundreds of people gathered at the Sector 51 metro station to meet the YouTuber.

According to news agency ANI, Noida Sector 49 police booked him for violating Section 144 of CrPC, which is currently in force in Noida. He was also booked under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant).

Gaurav Taneja has now been released on bail.

Notably, Taneja’s wife, who has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram, had told her fans that she would meet him around 1.30 pm for his birthday celebrations.

An earlier Instagram story on Ritu’s account said, “We will be limited to the maximum capacity of the Metro offered by NMRC! But the most mileage of course!” However, hours later, another post on Instagram Story reported that the ceremony was being canceled “due to some personal issues”.

‘Flying Beast’ aka Gaurav Taneja arrested

Gaurav Taneja has three YouTube channels – “Flying Beast”, “Fit Muscle TV” and “Raspberry Ke Papa”, where he creates vlogs and live streams of his daily life along with fitness-related videos.



He is reportedly a graduate in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. Gaurav Taneja is also currently pursuing law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
