YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, a popular YouTuber with over 7.5 lakh subscribers, was booked by the Gautam Budh Nagar police on Saturday for allegedly violating Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). Taneja’s appeal to call fans to the Noida Sector 51 metro station attracted huge crowds, leading to massive traffic jams and overcrowding. The police also claimed that Taneja had not sought permission for the same. A few hours after his arrest, Taneja got bail.
