YSRCP Mega Plenary on July 8-9, around 5.5 lakh people expected to participate

The two-day plenary session of Yuvajan Shramik Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) beginning July 8 has been planned as a grand event. The participating workers are expected to be full of enthusiasm as this is the first such event in Andhra Pradesh after the YSRCP came to power.

Party insiders say that around 1.5 lakh people are likely to attend the plenary on the first day and the number will increase to over 4 lakh on the second day, reflecting three years of good governance by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader V Vijayasai Reddy said, “On the first day, the resolution to elect the party president will be adopted and the election will be held on the same day.” On the first day, all public representatives will be in full presence and the YSRCP President will give instructions to strengthen the party committees. The party’s honorary president YS Vijayamma will also be present on the occasion.

YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy will announce a new policy regarding party committees to strengthen the party and prepare for the upcoming elections.

Vijayasai Reddy slammed the leaders of the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for their alleged false propaganda against the government and obstructing welfare activities.
