Zomato Rider Delivers Food On Horseback, Internet Calls It “Peak Hyderabad”

A video of a Zomato delivery agent riding a horse as his mode of transportation has surfaced online. Instead of relying on his conventional two-wheeler, the man, in Hyderabad, chose a trusty steed to navigate the city’s challenges.  Featured in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Zomato delivery agent is seen wearing the iconic red uniform with a delivery bag slung over his shoulders, skillfully riding through the city on a horse. The video gained praise for the rider’s creativity and adaptability, and some users jokingly questioned if it would affect delivery times and described it as a “peak Hyderabad” moment. Zomato has not commented on the incident yet.

“I think it’s the best way of transport, doesn’t harm the environment,” a person said.

“Hyderabadi jugaad,” read a comment.

A user made a humorous remark. “Whatever the food ordered…due to the horse tuk-tuk effect, by the time it’s delivered, the food may turn out to be khichdi.”

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added, “Imagine the condition of the food with all the shake-up.”

A few said that “Zomato peeps are like comedy ninjas”.
