Zoom: This paid zoom feature is now available for free, how to use it – Times of India

zoom Has launched its live transcription feature for all users. Earlier, this feature was available only for paid users. The plan to make it available to all users for free was announced by the company in February this year. Now that it’s live, users don’t need to request access, but can easily enable it using the meeting toolbar.
What is Live Transcription Feature
In simple words, users can now see a live text transcription of what the host or other participant is saying. This feature makes use of robotic transcription services that enable speech-to-text transcription in Zoom meetings and webinars. Other video conferencing platforms are also adopting this tool.
Currently, this feature is limited to the English language, however, the company says that it will add support for more languages soon. Last month, Zoom said that the platform would offer automated closed captioning in 30 languages over the next one year. The company has revealed that it is also working to add live translations for 12 different languages in the same time frame.
