Ten people, including the kingpin, were arrested for circulating the SSC Telugu question paper in WhatsApp.
The incident took place on Wednesday at Zilla Parishad High School located at Ankireddypally in Kolimigundla mandal of the district. Search is on for the 11th accused.
Nandyal District Collector Manazir Jilani Samoon while addressing the media late night said that this is a malpractice.
Rajesh, a community resource person from the education department employed at the school by the headmaster, photographed the question paper and sent it to nine teachers to receive the answer sheets.
On discovering the malpractice, Kolimigundla MRO, police and district education officer arrested Rajesh and nine teachers after conducting an investigation. “Another accused has not been arrested yet,” the collector said.
The inspector, members of the existing squad and the chief superintendent of the center were suspended from service for failing to conduct the examination in a free and fair manner.
