The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up its election campaign in Karnataka ahead of the crucial assembly elections on May 10. In a show of strength, many influential leaders of the saffron party did roadshows at many places in the state.

Contains Prime Minister Narendra Modi Who ended a busy day in the election-bound state for the saffron party with a mega roadshow in north Bengaluru on Saturday, drawing a huge response from the huge crowd.

The Prime Minister, who arrived in the city around 5 pm from Kudachi in north Karnataka’s Belagavi district after addressing his third public meeting in the state, was showered with flowers and boarded a specially designed vehicle.

Modi, wearing a saffron cap, was accompanied by Bangalore North MP DV Sadananda Gowda and BJP MLC C Narayanaswamy.

People gathered in large numbers on both sides of the road to have a glimpse of the Prime Minister and showered him with flowers.

BJP flags, bandanwars and posters were put up on the road and a group of artistes performed the popular drum dance ‘Dolu Kunita’ on the way to the roadshow.

Amit Shah will do road show in Mangaluru

BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah A roadshow was held in Mangaluru on Saturday evening as part of the party’s campaign for the assembly elections to be held on May 10.

Shah was given a rousing welcome by party workers in the city, who raised slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah and party leaders from the state.

The Union minister was accompanied by Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, BJP district president Sudarshan Moodbidri and other leaders.

JP Nadda in election campaign in Davangere

As part of the now aggressive BJP election campaign for the upcoming crucial Karnataka assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda said in Davangere, “PM Modi approved 5 lakh for medical expenses to 65 lakh families every year but Siddaramaiah stopped it and now is your time to stop him…”

Rajnath Singh took command in Basavanagudi
