Hyderabad: Telangana 137 new Covid-19 cases were reported on Monday, pushing the tally to 6,74,692, while the toll rose to 3,983 with two more fatalities.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 54 accounted for the most cases, followed by Karimnagar (15) and Ranga Reddy (11) district, a bulletin from the state government said, providing details by 5.30 pm on Monday.
With 172 people recovering from the infectious disease, the number of recoveries exceeded fresh cases on Monday, taking the cumulative number so far to 6,67171.
The number of active cases stood at 3,538, the bulletin said.
The total number of samples tested so far was 2,83,12,278, which includes 31,514 samples tested today.
The samples tested per million population were 7,60,673.
The case fatality rate in the state was 0.59 percent and the recovery rate was 98.88 percent.
