Vadodara: A 14-year-old girl who was struggling with learning difficulties was raped by a teacher. Chota Udaipur a week ago. According to the complaint, the incident took place in their village on July 26, when Babu Rathwa, a resident of the same village, came to the girl’s house saying that he wanted to take some rest there as there were laborers working in his farm nearby. The mother, who is a daily wage laborer, told the police that when she went back to the farm for work, Rathwa lay on a cot in their house.
Her husband and brother-in-law had also gone out for work.
However, when the woman returned home after some time, she saw Rathwa sexually assaulting her daughter and fled the spot when she saw her.
The complainant informed her husband about the incident but the couple did not immediately approach the police to avoid any problem for their daughter.
