Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 184 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Wednesday. The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,211. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6,68,450 and the death toll stood at 3,934.
A total of 162 patients were cured on Wednesday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,60,305. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now 98.78 percent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.78 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.1 per cent have been symptomatic.
38,834 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday. Telangana has now completed testing 2.69 crore samples and has reached to 7.23 lakh sample tests per million population.
